I feel fortunate to be leading Truescope’s growth in the world’s largest media intelligence market, combining the best-in-class technology developed by Truescope, with the great reputation for service and comprehensive content that Universal Information Services has built over the years. It makes this North American combination a very potent platform, and it also means I get to work with an industry friend and peer, Truescope CEO, John Croll.
I led innovation and growth for more than 30 years at Universal, a nationwide media monitoring company. I attribute our long-time success to a simple formula of innovation and a client-centric approach that saw us become the trusted partner for hundreds of organizations across the United States, and internationally. So for those of you reading this post, I would be surprised if we are not already friends. While other news monitoring companies have closed, or failed to grow, I also attribute our staying power to the client success and support team we have backing all our clients. The people on your team truly matter.
But if we don’t know each other yet, believe me when I say how proud I am to bring this forward-thinking business to our market. The acquisition by Truescope will enhance our existing customer experience with even more content, more exciting media monitoring tools, and the most intuitive interface I’ve seen in this industry. Truescope will now let our clients better focus on their mission critical tasks by viewing engagement and analytics in real-time.
The integration of Universal into Truescope will enable the best people and the most advanced technology to deliver deeper, more rich and relevant information to meet the demands of today’s communicator. This includes fully integrated product features across mainstream and social media, an exceptionally fast user interface, and beautifully branded client reports, to name just a few. It brings the US an unparalleled service from a team who care about delivering regular platform updates with you, the user and valued customer in mind. We have an unbelievably exciting development pipeline from a team whom I feel are the best media intelligence innovators in the world. Basically, a frequent stream of added value will accrue to our clients… starting now.
As I begin this new role, I am first and foremost focussed on ensuring a seamless and fast integration of Universal clients onto the Truescope platform. The same great, dedicated team of client services members will be here to help our clients easily move to Truescope and get them trained on all the added value features now available.
That aside, I’m eager to start leading Truescope, where we now have the best people using the best platform, to a level where I feel the sky really is the limit! The name may be changing, but the combination of our two companies will truly provide better media intelligence for real communicators. A level of service I feel the United States has been waiting for.
